The Rhythm — How to Run This Forever
The weekly cadence that makes the seven-message strategy a system, not a sprint. Plus when to break the rules and how to know when something's working.
What kills most content strategies
Founders adopt a system in a burst of energy. They post hard for two weeks. Then life. Then a guilt-spiral about "falling behind." Then they quit and look for the next strategy.
The Seven Message Strategy survives the spiral because the rhythm is small. Once it's in your week, you barely notice it.
The weekly cadence
15-minute Sunday batch
Open your phone. Open your LLM. Run the seven-message prompts (Lessons 2–4) for the week's posts.
- 2-3 trust posts (Philosophy / Story / Lifestyle)
- 1 Results post (yours or a client's)
- 1 Question post
- 1 Invitation (every other week)
- 1 Value post
Save them to a doc or a scheduling tool. That's the whole batch. 15 minutes.
5-minute daily check
Each morning: look at yesterday's post engagement. Reply to comments. Pull a sentence from a DM into your inputs folder for next week.
That's it. No "content creation block." No three-hour planning sessions. The system carries itself.
Monthly: the slot-machine review
Once a month, sit down for 20 minutes and ask:
- Which post type is winning? Comments-per-post is the truest signal — likes are vanity.
- Which post type is being ignored? Drop frequency, OR test a new angle.
- What's the recurring theme in DMs? That's your next Question post or Value post.
- Is any post earning ad spend? (See Lesson 6 — the "2+ signals" rule.)
The review is the loop. Without it, you post into the void. With it, every month gets sharper.
When to break the rules
The 6-to-1 ratio is the default. But three situations warrant flexibility:
- Launch week. Invitations can spike to 3 in a week. The audience already saw the trust posts in the weeks before — so the density doesn't feel pitchy.
- Crisis or hot news in your niche. A timely opinion post can replace whichever message type was scheduled. Speed beats sequence here.
- A real moment in your life. Lost a parent. Hit a milestone. Walked away from a deal. Real things take priority over the prompt. Post it raw. Skip the prompts.
The rules are scaffolding. Use them until you can throw them away.
How to know it's actually working
The wrong metrics: follower count, post likes, hashtag impressions.
The right metrics:
- DMs from real people (not bots) — start arriving unprompted within 30 days.
- Sales calls book without you asking — calendar fills from comments / DMs / post replies.
- Audience starts using your language — your phrases, your frameworks, your one-liners show up in their content.
- The right clients show up pre-qualified — they already agree with how you think because they've read 30 of your posts.
When 2-3 of these are happening, the system is running. The faster you stop posting just to post and start posting from the seven-message mix, the sooner it kicks in.
What's next
You have the framework. You have the prompts. You have the voice workflow. You have the scale path. You have the rhythm.
The next move is the post. Open your phone. Run a prompt. Schedule it.
Action in 10 minutes: Open your calendar. Create a recurring weekly event called "Seven Message Batch." Sunday morning, 15 minutes. First occurrence: this weekend. That's the appointment with future-you that makes the system real.
