Cloudflare API Token (Required)
- Go to dash.cloudflare.com/profile/api-tokens
- Click Create Token
- Use the Edit zone DNS template
- Set permissions:
- Zone > DNS > Edit
- Zone > Zone > Edit
- Zone > Zone Settings > Edit
- Zone Resources: Include > All zones
- Create and copy the token
Set it as an environment variable:
export CLOUDFLARE_API_TOKEN="your-token-here"
GoDaddy API Key (If Migrating from GoDaddy)
- Go to developer.godaddy.com/keys
- Create a Production API key (not OTE/test)
- Copy both the Key and Secret
export GODADDY_API_KEY="your-key"
export GODADDY_API_SECRET="your-secret"
Important: GoDaddy API access requires an active account with domains. Free accounts may have limited API access.
Namecheap API Key (If Migrating from Namecheap)
- Go to Profile > Tools > API Access
- Request API access (requires 20+ domains or $50+ spend)
- Whitelist your IP address
- Copy the API key
export NAMECHEAP_API_KEY="your-key"
export NAMECHEAP_USERNAME="your-username"
Squarespace / Google Domains
Squarespace (which acquired Google Domains) does not offer a public API for domain management. The skill handles this via manual DNS export and guided transfer steps.
No API keys needed — the agent walks you through the manual steps.
