Read Paper I first ā it builds the foundation Papers II and III stand on. Quick orientation to the trilogy, the DaD Loop, and why order matters.
The DaD Papers are three short, dense books ā Distinction, Decision, Delight. Each reads in about 30 minutes on the first pass. They're designed to reward re-reading. You'll catch something new on the third pass that changes how you understood the first two.
Read in order. It matters.
The foundation. Builds the framework that consciousness and distinction are the same act, and that act is what writes reality into existence. Pulls from quantum mechanics, information theory, and the algebra of distinctions (Spencer-Brown's Laws of Form).

The action layer. How to make committed decisions on incomplete information. Kelly Criterion, Boyd's OODA loop, Klein's Recognition-Primed Decision Making, Simon's satisficing (Nobel Prize 1978), Damasio's Iowa Gambling Task. The math and the cures for a five-level taxonomy of decision failure.
Publishing on Amazon: $0.99 Kindle / part of the $19.99 paperback trilogy. You'll get an email when it lands.
The navigation system. Joy as a somatic signal, not a reward. Panksepp's SEEKING circuit, Polyvagal expansion-contraction, the five-level taxonomy of delight (stimulation through calling). Closes the loop: how Distinction reveals possibility, Delight signals direction, Decision collapses reality.
Publishing on Amazon: $0.99 Kindle / part of the $19.99 paperback trilogy.
Distinction reveals possibility ā what's even available to perceive. Delight signals direction ā which possibility is worth collapsing. Decision collapses reality ā turns possibility into the line that actually happens.
Distinction without Delight gives you a map you can't navigate. Delight without Decision gives you a direction you never travel. Decision without Distinction collapses possibilities you didn't even know existed.
All three, recursively, are the operating system.
OSLO, FAST, AIMS, CORE ā Brad's frameworks are decision-support tools. They're only as sharp as the architect wielding them. The DaD Papers are what the architect uses to stay sharp. Operators run the daily mechanics inside walls someone else built. Architects design which walls go where and why.
If you're stepping out of operating your business to redesign it, the trilogy is for you.
